This Privacy Policy explains how Kinetic Melody ("we", "us") handles information in connection with our mobile applications, including Target Tuner, StageCut, and ChordSeek (the "Apps"). By using an App, you agree to the practices described below.

Media Access (Photos, Videos & Audio Files)

StageCut requires access to the video, photo, and audio files stored on your device so that you can select and edit them within the App. Editing is performed entirely on your device. We do not access, upload, or transmit your media files to us or to any third party.

Microphone Access

StageCut may request microphone access to support certain recording-related features. If this permission is requested, audio is processed on your device and is not recorded, stored, or transmitted by us or shared with any third party.

Chord Engine & Playback (ChordSeek)

ChordSeek's chord finder, chord charts, and audio playback all run entirely on your device. ChordSeek does not access your microphone, photos, or files, and does not require an account or sign-up to use.

Information Collected by Third-Party Services

Our Apps use the following third-party services, which may collect information as described in their own privacy policies:

• Google AdMob — displays ads within the free version of the App and may collect device identifiers, approximate location, and other data used for ad delivery and personalization. You can review Google's practices at policies.google.com/privacy.
• Google Play Billing — processes optional in-app purchases. We do not receive or store your payment card details; these are handled directly by Google Play.
• Google Play Console — provides us with aggregated, anonymized crash reports and install statistics to help us maintain and improve the Apps.
• Firebase Analytics — collects anonymized usage events such as which screens you open, which chords and playback modes you use, which practice progressions and tempos you start, the outcome of billing attempts, and whether you're on the free or paid tier of the App. None of this is linked to your name, email address, or any other personal identifier.

Information We Do Not Collect

Our Apps do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or contact information directly. We do not sell personal information.

Children's Privacy

Our Apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ad content is not configured for child-directed treatment.

Data Retention & Deletion

Because our Apps do not require an account, we hold no data tied to your identity that we could delete on request. Analytics events are anonymized, are not linked to your name or contact information, and are retained according to Firebase Analytics' standard retention settings before being automatically deleted. You can reset or limit your device's advertising identifier, and opt out of personalized ads, at any time from your device's system settings.

Data Security

Because media editing and any microphone-based features are processed on-device and never leave your phone, there is no server-side storage of your media or audio data to secure. Data handled by third-party services above is protected according to their respective security practices.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including if we add features such as cloud export or additional network functionality in the future. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
